They say start where you are, but I've found this easier said than done when it comes to starting the Eu2Be blog.
The world doesn't need another blog, but it makes sense when you’re on a mission to evolve the conversation about the role of skin care in good health—and more importantly, living well.
So, is the Eu2Be blog a soapbox worth getting on?
We all loathe meaningless online chatter—especially when the demands for our precious attention have never been greater. But check this out:
The $30 billion beauty care industry has effectively focused the
skin care conversation on your face, with little to no attention
paid to what goes on the rest of you.
Indeed, when I tell people I’ve started a skin care line, they immediately start talking about facial skin care, even though:
- We know how important it is to pay attention to what goes into our bodies;
- We know that the ozone layer has eroded and global warming is upon us;
- We know we need all the tools at our disposal to deal with the demands and stresses of our times.
And yet we’re just now connecting the dots between the importance of investing in the main body organ that stands between us and the environment: Our skin.
We need a more holistic view of our skin because it performs important health functions within our bodies' vital organs. Let's face it. Certain skin facts are missing from the conversation on good health. So get ready!
Don’t just gather ‘round the soapbox, be the guardian of what is precious to you: your skin. Through the power of mindfulness and touch, we can enhance the practice of our daily skin care regimen to empower our lives.
And through our blog, you'll discover the most intriguing journey you never even knew existed: The expedition of the skin you’re in. It’s a journey that will fuel the life you love.
