5 Everyday Acts to Bring More Joy to Life

If it’s true that we’re here to discover and explore the story of who we are and not just to get through the day merely for survival, why not put a few everyday tools into action that will enhance your experience of joy?

Living with more joy may be easier than you think. Here are a few ways to turn the everyday ordinary into extraordinary:

1. Add the Fruit.

Especially during summer months, a slice of watermelon or your favorite fruit turns an ordinary glass of water into a flavorful, colorful hydrating experience.

Fresh herbs are everywhere this time of year. Put them to good use by adding them to your next dish — and don’t be afraid to experiment, mix it up and enjoy the extra flavorful boost to fruits, veggies and everything!

3. Go Off the Beaten Path.

Dare yourself to have a small adventure. Discovering new people, places and things is one of life’s most generous gifts. Even just by wandering, you’ll experience yourself anew.
